"We(my husband, myself & group of friends) stayed at the house for a week and it was absolutely perfect! The house is large enough to accommodate a group yet quaint enough to bring everyone together. The view is breathtaking, the wildlife you see around the house is different every day. We had everything we needed at the house. We will definitely be staying there again! We used Wils tours(recommended by host) and Wil is fantastic! His chef service is amazing. We had breakfast & dinner several days and everything was delicious! We also had massages by Angelica(also recommended by host) and it was one of the best massages ever. I recommend getting one on the first day & the last day you are there. We look forward to staying again!!!"

"I loved the serenity of the cloud forest and views. I really wanted a way to open a screened window for a cool, natural breeze and to listen to bird song, while still being able to lock the doors. It was quieter than expected given the proximity of the road (very few cars travel it), but also a little less private that I desired with the other guests walking by. The staff were extremely helpful and engaging - a really nice part of the experience. "

"We had an amazing stay the property manager met us at the bottom of the hill to guide us up. After a few times it was a breeze. But you absolutely need a 4x4. No question about it. We saw a few toucans in the trees, some iguanas and other amazing eildlife. wildlife. "

We heard the howler monkeys, visited by white face capuchins, entertained by a friendly coati and spent time identifying many different birds. I was nervous about the driveway from the reviews. Don’t let that hinder you. It is totally doable! The fresh fruit was a welcome touch. "

"My husband and I stayed in this beautiful home for 8 whole days for our delayed honeymoon and what a treat! The place is unbelievably gorgeous! The house, the view and the property, we were in awe! The staff went above and beyond to take care of us. They cooked for us, cleaned, did our laundry, we were so spoiled by the time we left! They helped us figure out what to do and where to go and were exceptional. We made some great memories and plan to return and take the whole family! I cannot say enough about how much we loved it and what a fantastic experience it all was. "

"Such a magical environment, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Allen’s passion for the forest and animals is contagious and encyclopaedic ; we learned so much. The property is surrounded by beautiful forests in all directions, and you eat breakfast watching hummingbirds and toucans. It’s truly incredible. Our car broke down around 7km before arriving to the lodge and Allen and his team could not have been more helpful or friendly. They kindly came and met us, helped jumpstart the car, and brought us safely to the lodge. Real hospitality and kindness, and so appreciated. "
