"This beautifully situated house in the hills above Matapalo is generally clean and functional. The pool is very nice and the kitchen is modern but without a dishwasher. The washing machine was not functional and the dryer is not accessible for guest use. "Peaceful is the word that comes to mind. Property is well designed, well maintained and property managers were very communicative with any questions we had. Wifi was great. Definitely need a 4x4 to get to location. It’s remote and isolated so, just be aware. Many grocery stores in the area to stock up pantry. 50 bird species identités during our stay. Butterflies a plenty. Great access (by vehicle ) to beaches with macaws, sloths. Highly recommend for those looking to just get away"
