"This is a wonderful lodge for birding. You will see Resplendent Quetzals on the early morning tour (thank you to the guide!), and many other special species in Costa Rica right in the gardens and at your cabin windows (Long-tailed silky flycatcher and volcano hummingbird, for instance). This is a beautiful property, well maintained and quiet. You do have to walk on narrow pathways up and down a hillside to the cabins. I stayed in the double room one night and a superior cabin the second night. I recommend the superior. The double room was closer to the restaurant, reception, and other people, and very cold with only one space heater and older construction. The superior is larger with 2 space heaters and newer construction so it heats more efficiently. The view was amazing, as were the birds and sounds of the jungle! Breakfast was not included in the price and I found $13 expensive for a couple greasy eggs and bacon. I wasn't there to eat though. The birding was spectacular. I drove about 40 minutes to Batsu Garden in the Rio Savegre Valley and found species I had hoped for including Volcano and Scintillant hummingbirds. Thank you! "

"Very pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and size of the room...looks to have been recently renovated. A delightful hotel in a great area of downtown close to all the shopping. But most of all the service was amazing...all the staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever our needs were. Definitely will be staying here again when we are up this way."

"Amazing view from every individual lodge. This is an amazing property with a large natural areas with hiking trails. The trail levels would be moderate and difficulty, but it is really nice to be with trees and natures. Excellent services, staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Excellent dinner menu with very reasonable prices. Humming bird feeder brought nice visitors. The bird and nature guide (Carlos) booked through the lodge was excellent. We saw quetzal birds twice!!! "

"We had a great family vacation with nine adults. we did the all-inclusive package which took the hassle out of transportation and meal preparation. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The facility is top notch with plenty of space for the nine of us. A very private getaway. The scenery is amazing. The wildlife as well. We did a few excursions which were very enjoyable. We also lounged around the pool and hot tub several days. would definitely consider booking this vacation again. "

"Our first time in Costa Rica though our daughter and her family have been many times and were staying with us. First let me say, as many reviews note, you need a 4 wheel drive to access the home. The home is unique and beautiful. Great views. When we arrived the pool was full of leaves. The property manager said it had been cleaned but lots of leaves had been falling and she was correct! I cleaned it all out but it was just the time of year and it also rained a lot. Michelle was awesome. She always responded and quickly as well. She was quick and helpful. If I had to provide a suggestion it would be to either repair or replace the tanning chairs by the pool. Two had been taken out of service and stored. The remaining two were on their last threads and I would not sit on them. The kitchen could use a few things like another large pot and a pasta strainer but none of these things are a show stopper. Its a great home and I would stay there again. Super Market was close, fun places by the water with shops, brewery and restaurants. "

"Great Dinner and Breakfast "

"Our family of 8 stayed at Casa Sea Breeze last week and we all had an amazing time. The location is perfect - secluded, yet only a 15 min drive into Dominical and the beaches. Beautiful ocean views and sunsets. The grounds are even prettier than the pictures and we saw lots of toucans and monkeys. While we did enjoy several excursions, most of our time was spent by (and in) the pool appreciating the amazing scenery. Wil, the property concierge, was also great to deal with. His team booked white water rafting for us and chef services for 3 days. Great food! Our family will be returning again and we highly recommend Casa Sea Breeze to anyone looking for a perfect vacation in this area of Costa Rica! "
