"We have stayed at Steve’s and Nancy’s for two weeks and experienced their hospitality, friendliness and such a warmth. Loved the place : super comfortable, very private yet close enough to know the host is there when you need them. Steve and his helper rescued us from a very daring car trouble for which we were so grateful. We enjoyed the tranquility and spectacular views, jacuzzi on the huge terrace was awesome. We will go back next year."

" The directions to the property are terrible when looking for it at 12am. and have never been to Costa Rica, maps.app.goo.gl does not work on a US based cell phone? There was no complimentary bottled water, clothes dryer, hair dryer, wash rags, or cleaning supplies. All beds need memory foam pads. It isn't beach view, its over 1.5 km from the beach, but it is 120m from a busy highway. Also, allow 4 to 5 hrs. to and from SJO airport, for traffic. Just being honest, for future travelers."

"This property was accurately portrayed in the photos for sure, beautiful! There were some small issues however. All but one shower heads was not working well. The rain heads were more like small waterfalls. There were no dish towels to dry dishes with and with a party of 8 people there were always dishes. "We absolutely adored our time here. The three separate sleeping spaces gave our adult children and us privacy. Every day, we came home at around 4:00 to cool off in the pool, and every morning, we sat and listened to the birds and stared at the glorious view, coffee in hand. "The rooms a very unique and they property is beautiful. We had tiny bats roosting on our villa and it was fabulous to watch them swoop and dive over the river in the evening. The owner & staff were lovely although my lack of Spanish made communication difficult. There was few maintenance issues, and the room it’s self could do with a little love."
