"The property was clean but it's starting to show a little age in some of the rooms. The breakfast is great. The coffee was even better because they offered a bold option, which is my choice. You can weaken coffee but you can't strengthen it. A little pricey but worth the piece of mind."

"Rooms are to far from the check in. Tv's are small and not smart tvs. Restaurants in the area are limited at best. Bluefield i am.afraid is stuck in a time warp and so is this hotel. I could smell the stinch of years of cigarette smoking in my room even though the hotel is smoke free."

"What a quaint little B&B. Stayed in the George Washington Room. Nice comfortable beds. Excellent star worthy breakfast they bring you in their cafe. If you need options due to allergies or food intolerance, Kit and Gary will take care of it. The staff is very kind and always helpful. True southern hospitality. OMG the biscuits though.....what I would give to get those again. 5* and its an honest 5*."

"the staff were nice. the room was comfortable. the bathrooms especially the bathtubs were filthy with a couple bugs and spiders. for $115 a night, it should be spotless. the staff was not available at check in and do not give u access to the inside of the hotel during your stay. they accidently locked the door and i didnt know if i was going to get to my room or not. i didnt know if i was going to be able to check in or not due to staff not being there. "

"Check in was very strange and not welcoming- the woman at the desk did not say anything to me other than to ask my name- no welcome not even a hello. She didn’t ask to see my ID or my credit card. Just handed me the room keys. Didn’t tell me where the room was, nothing about breakfast, wifi or literally anything. It was the strangest and honestly, rudest experience I’ve had at a hotel.
