"The apartment was lovely, perfect for 1-2 persons, with a great view from the balcony. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Leonor. The location was fantastic, very close to the Bolhão market, the metro, dining, shopping and groceries. It was easy to walk to the historic district and the river. Next time I am in Porto, I will definitely stay here again!"

"Everything was wonderful except that it did mot feel like there was much recognition of VIP status. No bottles of wine were offered or room upgrade. We had to argue for the room we orginally paid for and also we were downgraded for the end of our stay. It felt like we paid a lot of money ($450/nt) to not be treated like anything special. $450 is a lot of momey in Portugal. or anywhere..it was disappointing. "Beautiful hotel in a great walkable location to dozens of restaurants and shops. Part of the hotel is a 500 year old palace with a beautiful courtyard, stone columns and staircases. Small and intimate hotel - the staff are all lovely, helpful, speak perfect English. Highly recommend. "
