"Check in was very good and welcoming. Our room was on the 4th floor and a great size. Everywhere was spotless, there was a good selection at breakfast. However, there were a few negatives. The room is exceptionally hot. We had to open a window at night. There is nowhere to put your towel when you're in the shower and the bathroom flooded. We had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend. "

"Everything was wonderful except that it did mot feel like there was much recognition of VIP status. No bottles of wine were offered or room upgrade. We had to argue for the room we orginally paid for and also we were downgraded for the end of our stay. It felt like we paid a lot of money ($450/nt) to not be treated like anything special. $450 is a lot of momey in Portugal. or anywhere..it was disappointing.
