"A good size room, with large bath & shower, large comfortable bed, room on 1st floor - no noise, very good breakfast - great selection/options, all staff very helpful, very well equipped gym to accommodate all levels/needs. Good location for transport/train to airport. The restaurant meals however...very small portions (pasta dish) +50% for an average size portion. "

"It was a great hotel with best views in Porto. Clean room, great service, nice food. Welcome drink during check in. On the negative side: hotel didn't congratulate me on my birthday. It could be a small gesture like bottle of wine in the room or even a card. Absolutely nothing. During last 10 years travelling and staying in different hotels around the world it was my first birthday when hotel didn't pay attention to me on my birthday...."

"Everything was wonderful except that it did mot feel like there was much recognition of VIP status. No bottles of wine were offered or room upgrade. We had to argue for the room we orginally paid for and also we were downgraded for the end of our stay. It felt like we paid a lot of money ($450/nt) to not be treated like anything special. $450 is a lot of momey in Portugal. or anywhere..it was disappointing. I think the staff is very nice but they seemed stressed. The management forces them to...

"This hotel is in an excellent location, with all parts of city easily accessible by walking....if you don't mind the hills😁 The hotel building is great, with spacious, comfortable rooms. "Really nice hotel. Good position and easily accessible for trains, buses etc. nice clean rooms, friendly staff, adequate breakfast - and they gave us a take-away breakfast on the morning we left as we had a very early departure. "

"Lovely hotel! Large, spacious, beautiful rooms. Our balcony was right on the open square. It was amazing! The bar was awesome and the American bar tender was very nice and helpful. All the staff were wonderful! The very central location was awesome and made the days easy. Such a short walk to the river, churches, the market, everything! Great hotel!"
