"Great room - used the upgrade option. Air con temp a bit tricky to control, be nice to see options for pillows like other hotels do. Opted out of housekeeping in exchange for drink form bar was a nice touch. "

"This was a great stay for 2 adults and 2 children. Despite there being a sign up on arrival that there was a private event with music till midnight… I didn’t hear a thing, the rooms are nice and quiet, the pool was lovely to wind down in after a busy day, and the breakfast was great, plenty of choice, fresh and was replenished often. Parking is £7 for each night, and there is a bus stop on the opposite side of the road just outside the hotel to take you into York, the bus’s are every 15...

"Has a premier inn type vibe that is trying to be cool. Its nice enough and located in a good spot. Not enough staff working the bar/reception. Would stay again if there wasn't something else for a similar price - it's expensive for a budget style hotel "
