"Lovely pool area and polite staff, unfortunately bins in the rooms had not been emptied from previous guests. Paid for late check out to use the pool area and would say this was worth it. breakfast fresh made and very good."

The down is that it’s just a room with en suite- no other facilities- and no lift- But there is a delicious cafe downstairs for breakfast and lots of restaurants/takeaway places locally! "Another great stay at The Bear. I love it because it has a lot of character and it’s interesting. The rooms and nice and comfortable and the restaurant serves really delicious food (I had the beef short rib). It’s also really conveniently located in Crickhowell with most other interesting places within walking distance. Lastly, all the staff I spoke to were really friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit. "
