"I’ve stayed in a few inexpensive hotels over the years. This ranks among the best. Start with the negative. Room not quite ready on arrival but they did allow me to leave my case. The down is that it’s just a room with en suite- no other facilities- and no lift- But there is a delicious cafe downstairs for breakfast and lots of restaurants/takeaway places locally! "Fairly large room, good view of the town, central location. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, kettle in room. even an iron and ironing board. The TV was small but worked well. Access is via a long staircase over 3 floors pending on which room you get, best to travel light or it can be bit of a haul. We have used ML lodge before and would use it again, its great value for money. One tip, lock your door from inside/outside as it does not lock automatically on closure to avoid unexpected interruptions...
