"This place hasn't been look after at all for years!When we arrived could only see massive stinging nettles and dumping area. The yurt was dirty, smelled of damp and mould. The towels were not provided as per webside offer and beds were uncomfortable and bedding didn't smell fresh at all. The lightning didn't work on a patio either. "This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). The outside space was so private and had a fantastic view over the fields and to the hills beyond. Our favourite thing was sitting out at night by the fire pit and relaxing, looking up at the stars. "Enjoyed the stay and accommodation. Could do with iron and ironing board. Crockery was somewhat sparse ( breakfast bowls ). Double bed was quite noisy."
