"Very happy with our stay in this property. Although basic it was adequately furnished for our needs. Aldea blanco is perfectly placed for beach or exploring the island. Aldi, Lidl and many other stores close by. Airport 10 minutes away. Ignore previous comments regarding dogs barking. We stayed 3 weeks and this was never an issue. Before leaving we didn’t hesitate to book for next winter"

"La comunicación con José fue muy buena desde el principio. Él fue muy antento a nuestra llegada y siempre contestando nuestras inquietudes. La habitación muy limpia y el baño también. La locación es perfecta para descansar y sentir la tranquilidad de la isla. El único punto, en la página de FeWo dice que la propiedad cuenta con Shampoo y jabón, pero no es así. Tampoco hay un Jacuzzi, como está escrito en FeWo. Pd: Para llegar a la propiedad, hay que subir calles muy empinadas."

"The property is just as the pictures indicate. A quiet and relaxing place to stay. The one concern I would raise is parking. While the area where the house is located is very quiet the other part of the village is filled with tourists all day long. While we were there the moment we left our parking space it was taken immediately. We made sure we didn’t return to the village till late afternoon when we could again find a parking spot."

"A great place to stay with a great host. The apartment is just a few miles from the coast and so it was a few degrees cooler and therefore much more pleasant than down on the main resorts. "The Finca Delicias are a small group of converted farm buildings located in a banana plantation near the beach and rock swimming pools of Alcala. The house was well presented, creatively furnished, and well equipped with generous amounts of space indoors and out. Incredible views of the ocean with the sun setting behind La Gomera each evening. "The property was perfect in every way. Unfortunately the satnav couldn't find the house. We phoned the owner who didn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish. We found a taxi rank and asked them to take us and we would follow and pay them. He couldn't find it either, so he spoke to the owner who came and met us and we followed him. He was very helpful - considering it was now midnight!! Other than this everything else was great. A very steep climb down to the town."

"Host is very helpful and supportive. The cottage has a great interior design with an antique touch and interesting wallphotos showing the area. Exterior is super. With a barbeque area with a n outdoor kitchenette .The area itself is close to the town and the three city of Porto de la Cruz is close. Only problem was that our GPS always showed the worst way to get to the south side.. .We enjoyed our stay."

"The house was excellent, has a fantastic view, very calm. Parking situation was a little difficult. The Online description in "FEWO Direct" of the property was incorrect. The property was shown to be in the center of Buenavista del Norte in the map, whereas in reality it is in Masca. a 45 minute drive away, This is very misleading and unacceptable"

"Really nice place to stay in a great location. The apartments are lovely but you can tell room by room which ones have been modernised. Everything was lovely except the bathroom, really old and the showers were awful. Zero pressure and no hot water. Bath takes at least 30 minutes to fill up aswell. Television is absolutely pointless has 2 channels with weak signal and is about 20 years old. Aside this the whole apartment was absolutely lovely and a fantatsic size."

On the third day the opportunity was missed to get clean sheets, so for ten days we did not get any new sheets , were told we would need to pay extra to have that.
