"This is a very well cared for villa in a great spot just outside La Orotava. It is located in a beautiful garden, very secluded and quiet. The villa is well equipped and comfortable. The pool is a good size for swimming. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly. We would recommend this villa to anyone!"

Aldi, Lidl and many other stores close by. Airport 10 minutes away. Ignore previous comments regarding dogs barking. We stayed 3 weeks and this was never an issue. "Juan was an amazing host and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We had an fabulous 2 weeks and the location is quiet and remote. Ideal if you are looking for peace and quiet not so if you looking for hustle and bustle. The Finca is well equiped and very well furnished. The wood burning hot tub was a very nice touch. Definitely coming back here if we head back to Tenerife."

Took a bit of finding (keep going to end of the road when you turn onto Camino del Chamizo) and the roads are very steep, but was worth the effort. The house is well equipped and spacious. "We had to go and book a hotel. The carpet was worn out the sunbed pads were worn out the toilet lid was stained and the sheets mismatched. We left after 10 minutes. We tried to get vrbo who ignored our emails. We found a last minute last hotel room at 6pm at night and spent our holiday in a hotel as we couldnt even put our bags down on the floor. "Located in the sleepy town of Arico, we were close to the highway for exploring the island. After VRBO accepted our reservation we didn't hear from the owner until two days before our arrival which left us uncertain about the reservation. However, once we arrived communication was excellent and our hosts were extremely helpful. Luisa, your paella was the best we had on the island; Rayco, thanks for looking after us. "We stayed for 5 days and on the whole, enjoyed our visit. We wanted something quiet and away from it all and this house is certainly that! Accommodation is fairly basic but very clean, the biggest problem was that at this time of year it was pretty cold in the house, only one small heater was provided. "Lovely location high up on a mountain top -you need to be mobile to walk back to the hotel , inclined walk up, steep angles , but lovely hotel. Even equipped with washer."

"The hotel was redeveloped in 2024 and is bright and modern. Staff, especially housekeeping (daily) were wonderful. However, we had issues with noise from neighbouring rooms. We could hear voices and the TV through the walls. We also had issue with. the food hall. It was often over crowded and waiting time to get into the food hall at breakfast and for evening meals could be lengthy. The food quality was average. On one occasion, I found a large piece of wire in my pasta. I also had food poisoning, which is no surprise given the crowds in the food hall and hygiene habits of some guests. We stopped going to the food hall after the food poisoning incident. Unfortunately, most resort hotels in the area adopt the food hall method of feeding guests. Also disappointed that use of the gym costs extra. The sports bar was never open. We stayed almost four weeks at the hotel and overall we were very disappointed."

I was consistently impressed by the luxurious amenities, the impeccable service, and the stunning environment. The Oriental Spa Garden was a true highlight, with a wide array of treatments that left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The hotel's restaurants provided a delightful culinary journey with diverse cuisines and top-notch food. Overall, my stay at Hotel Botanico & The Oriental Spa Garden was truly unforgettable and provided a much-needed escape."

Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife - All Inclusive

"Lovely hotel and looked exactly like the photos. We also liked Pedro and Jorge from the specialist restaurants. Only problem was that We had a birthday and they didn’t actually do anything for you and told us too late that we could have paid to have the name on the castle. Also the buffet and pizza restaurants were too short staffed at times. "
