"We loved Canavida! If you want the hustle and bustle of a city, this place isn't for you. But if you want to be in the middle of nature with spectacular views, this place is heaven. It is well equipped with everything you need, and is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Just make sure to bring in whatever groceries you need before you start the drive up the long dirt road. The road was fine, but we were glad we had a 4x4 with high clearance. We could have driven without it, but it was easy with it. "

We would have been happy just laying in the infinity pool watching the monkeys swing in every day. Short drive to Dominical beach, and we also had a chef cook fish tacos one night that were amazing. "This hotel is charming and lovely with 5 star rooms and dining. The bar had amazing drinks and it would be a very expensive hotel if it wasn’t directly on the highway. The views of the ocean are breathtaking but it’s literally on top of the highway so you hear and smell trucks and ambulances."
