"The staff were very kind and always smiling. On entry we were offered some drinks too which was a refreshing idea! The rooms are a bit dated but we had a very comfortable stay, the heating was on at the right times so was great especially in this cold. I asked for an iron and hairdryer which the staff gave for our stay which which fantastic. Was a quiet and lovely stay, we got the sea view room too which had a lovely view. The decor wasn’t as much like shown in the pics but it was comfortable....

"We stayed here to go watch britains got talent from discussions on the phone to arriving we was greeted with polite friendly greetings, the family run hotel is perfect for all occasions and bringing children, the family are a delightful and friendly people and could not do enough for us the beds was so comfortable and the room and whole house was very clean and when arriving back was greeted with a beautiful smelling candle we will definitely be back thank you for a really nice stay."

"Love this hotel /B&B this was a return trip to this place . It’s central to everything a few minutes to the town and town center …we could see the tower from our bedroom window. If you expect 5star then this isn’t for you but if you need a nice clean comfortable place to stay then book them now …the only gripe I have is the bed wasn’t big enough and was a bit lumpy but apart from that 10/10"

"The room walls were covered in black mould with paper hanging off the wall , came home with bad asthma . Was locked out twice due to someone putting the lock on the inside of the door and no staff on premises to deal with it had to phone and wait . No towels in the room. Not a clean hotel."

Parking is a bit challenging - outside 8am until 6pm maximum 90 minutes (paid parking), seven days a week. Double room had shared shower and shared toilet. Room had a sink. Given the excellent location, friendly staff and price would recommend"
