"We had a really enjoyable stay at Woodpecker Cottage. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and 60th anniversary, there was plenty of room for all 13 family members inside the property and we enjoyed the outside space using all the facilities. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The bedrooms/bedding/towels all lovely and clean. We would recommend a stay at this property."

"Good spacious property. Dining table very sticky but other than that everything else spot on. Promenade in grange disappointing - wanted to catch full moon but no lights meant we had to walk on the road."

"We had a very comfortable time in the cottage. When I asked Rachel if there was a coffee maker or French press in the home she said no and then messaged me that she’d gone out to get one for our stay. How lovely is that!? She left us a couple of treats as well. The cottage was cozy and quiet and had everything we needed for our winter retreat. "Great location for exploring all the Lake District. Internet access was the only challenge but the cottage was clean and well cared for with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Off the street so very quiet and the hostess sent out a comprehensive list of places to go and things to see. We would definitely stay there again if available."

"Lovely long weekend staying to celebrate a family members 60th birthday. Lovely cottage and surrounding areas, easy commutable distance to activities. All amenities thought off and lovely touch with some Halloween decorations which were enjoyed by all. Communication was amazing and the managers helped with making sure our surprise worked. Very spacious property and everything we thought out for everyone staying. Thank you for a wonderful stay"
