"Booked in here as all the thieves in town were charging a fortune, (St Paddys Weekend). Pleasantly surprised. Greeted by a lovely lady at check in. Got parked up in front of guest house. We were given a mini tour (breakfast area) and shown to our room. The room was a tad small ,but clean and very warm. It was a place to crash for a night. We walked into town, it's easy, downhill and about 40 mins. Taxi back at night cost £11. (Black cab). Didn't try breakfast (its help yourself continental...

"It was a convenient stay as we were visiting an elderly relative in Southport. My wife was a bit uncomfortable in bed saying it had some lumps in the mattress. She was unable to have a shower as all the hotel rooms only have a shower over the bath and she cannot climb over the edge. From a safety point of view there was no handrail for the shower on the wall. We will not be staying there again."

However, one thing rather annoyed me and it’s so simple to overcome There is One very small glass shelf in the bathroom of number 16 which held our tooth mugs only We had to put our toilet bags and my make up bag on the floor whilst using them. "We booked here after reading the great reviews and so glad we did. It was a last minute booking as was just visiting the area for the day and decided to stay over. Of course there are so many places to choose from but the price and the reviews were so good we decided to stay here. The room was spotless and had everything we needed and more with an excellent tea and coffee selection in the room. We didn’t have breakfast. We will definitely stay here again. "Had a nice cosy stay for 3nights, for the money tbh was very good overall. Nice bed, room had sink and coffee making facilities..... Heating was on as weathers been cold so was surprised it was warm in the room...... The shower was filled with sand so not so good.... However the toilet was shared and close by. Would have preferred a better view.... Other than the vast amount of rubbish outside. Possibly would stay again but perhaps, the rooms, could be updated as looking quite tired older...
