"quality of the in-house dining experience doesn't match the profile of the hotel. The facility keeps a very high level and are at the top in the area. but considering the normal high quality of the Italian dining experience, this hotel consistently underperform unfortunately. I still would recommend staying here since there are several really nice alternatives outside the hotel."

"The room was next to a busy road, but I was able to sleep well because of tiredness. Anyone walking the Via Francigena should be tired enough to sleep through an explosion. 😇 It’s only 9 mins walk from the train station (bus-substitute trains run often.) It is 19 minutes downhill walk from the Roman bridge at Pont Saint Martin. The only thing I didn’t like about the property was how difficult it was to lock the shared bathroom. "Kannten die Gegend schon von früher, haben aber jeweils ganz oben in der Gattascosa-Hütte übernachtet. Warten überrascht ein so gemütliches Hotel im Tal zu finden. Hatten grosses Wetterglück und konnten drei sehr schöne Wanderungen machen. Guter Prospekt des Tals mit Wanderrouten eingezeichnet!"

"I cannot adequately put into words the perfection that was our stay here. Barbara and her family are the most genuine, kind people, and you can tell they love what they do; Barbara has spared no detail in every room of the apartment, from flower petals in the ice cubes (!) to flowers, candies, and handwritten notes throughout the house.
