"We thought this hotel was a good value for money. The location and breakfasts were excellent and the room clean. Our family room was not over the bar and only one night was there significant noise. The service was friendly. There were some hot water issues when we were there, with the shower temperature varying greatly. This may have effected our spa visit where the hot tub was not hot, only lukewarm and the Scottish shower was unbearably cold and uncomfortable. Additionally, the price was 60...

"The Hotel has a nightclub under one part which is not owned by the hotel. I was kept awake until 4am the first night, and 3am the second night. When I asked to move rooms the staff apologised, it is a known issue and effects the entire hotel... I have no idea how you can continue to rent rooms in a hotel where the guests can't sleep... We were moved to the far end of the hotel... and I was still forced to sleep with headphones on. The only saving grace of this hotel is the very nice staff,...

"The room was next to a busy road, but I was able to sleep well because of tiredness. Anyone walking the Via Francigena should be tired enough to sleep through an explosion. 😇 It’s only 9 mins walk from the train station (bus-substitute trains run often.)
