"Apsor is a 5 minute ride from where the wide action is at { Riverside} which is a good thing for me. Tuk Tuks are cheap - keep it that way - 8000 riel { 2 bucks} is plenty for a fairly long ride. And as usual - keep your street sense on alert in any foreign city. "

"Got a free upgrade when i arrived, good and smooth check-in, room was spacious and comfortable, good and convenient location of the hotel. Breakfast was in a great and spacious room, with open roof, but choice and quality of food were a bit disappointing, pre-prepared tea in a coffee can with coffee taste, extremely sweet orange juice (and not fresh) and fruit was a bit off. Otherwise, i had a pleasant short stay."

"Great hotel. Had the unfortunate incident where hotel staff allowed a group of young men to play their boom box at the pool and later at the pool side restaurant. Very unfortunate as it put a damper on an otherwise wonderful time. Shame on you management!"

""Royal Mekong Boutique Hotel" ? Funny. It is joke to call this mid-range guesthouse (at best) a "boutique". From the negative non-responsive attitude of the front desk, to the ABSOLUTELY dirty bathroom with semi-working plumbing. To top the insult - the bus to Bangkok bookings they sold us was the worst. Down grade this place. There much better choices!"
