"Very charming hotel with a lively vintage vibe and an excellent restaurant. The room and general interior seemed tired, but everything was very clean and smelled lovely. "If you check back, I stayed here a year ago. It wasn't so good. But a year later and new owners and my god what a change. Parking is great. Met by welcoming staff. I had my usual room and it had been redecorated and now the windows open, no longer painted closed. Lovely powerful shower. Last year the evening meal was terrible, tiny portions and over priced. But with the new owners they have turned it around. I had a lovely evening meal at a good price. Mon to Fri they have deals on two & three...

"Stay good motel style easy access Beer good Didn't have meals only served weekends Last day forgot sort our room had to ask for fresh towels (usualy changed daily good quality too) n coffee etc We in room 11 wifi rubbish hit n miss if your where lucky Rooter at top of corridor Struggled to get channel on tv Easy walk into town Beer garden could do with bit of attention (could do with couple goats) Shower / room small no where to put anything (good job not got cat) Only one chair n stool for desk"

"Place was amazing and really accommodateing, was traviling with a 3 month old and they could not do enough to make us feel welcome and offered all the help we could ask for. Bar and restaurant really lovely food and choices of beers and ciders. "
