"Very happy with their Silkara Suites’ service. Check in/out was smooth and we also requested for slippers, which was delivered to our room quickly. One of the shower heads was leaking and couldn’t be used. We called the front desk and they replaced the shower head for us. Everything happened within 15 min and was impressed. Room and bathrooms were tidy and clean. The only thing that could have made it a better stay is probably being offered a room on a higher floor due to the noise. We stayed on level 1 and the garbage trucks were busy doing their thing overnight, which woke me a couple of times. Then there were people talking loudly on the streets early in the morning, which woke me up. I would probably have to remember to request to stay on a higher level myself next time."

"The Reception Staff Are Great And They Upgraded Our Room Plus A Late Checkout The Hotel Is Well Looked After And Maintained Room Was Very Clean And Tidy"

"Merton Chatswood is conveniently located near train stations, malls and supermarkets. It’s great for a family of 4. The apartments have a fully equipped kitchenette, which is great for meal prep. It’s also only 15 -20 mins commute to central Sydney, so it’s easy to get in and around tourist attractions."

"Our room overlooked a koala habitat!!! This unique property is part of the Taranga Zoo, so if you are an animal fan, you will have an amazing experience. The breakfast is second to none. What I didn't like: shower floors very slippery and there are no hand holds anywhere in the bathroom. This is probably important only for those of guests that are more mature, but in my view simple and low cost enhancements would make it much better."
