"The pools were fantastic. The restaurant was very loud and the food was average. The views were lovely. Overall we wouldn’t stay again due to the restaurant feeling like a big canteen it was relaxing to eat."

"Very good all rounder. Food was not as good for early week and better later in the week for dinner. The doors to the balcony rattle at night, keeping people awake. The staff are great though, very likeable. Good gym but a bit far from the main hotel. Overall, really enjoyed my stay with the beautiful views, old style music and overall great atmosphere. "

"Excellent value - very clean, comfortable and friendly, with all facilities you could need. It is a walk from the main town centre, and the hill is steep, so need to be mobile, or happy to use taxis. But the walk is worth it as the location is peaceful. Reception area and stairs are all stone/marble so noise does travel - especially to ground floor rooms. And walls are thin too, so occasional interrupted sleep. Nothing too dramatic though. "The hotel had a lovely view of the volcano and the mountains, but it was quite a long walk away from high street down a steep hill. It wasn’t a problem to do the walk a couple of times, but definitely not every day. "Not too far from the city and i had a fantastic day at the animal park, definitely a big hit with kids. Only issue was that there was a bus strike at the time, which meant what i wanted to do in terms of excursions was limited. "

"the property and owners were brilliant. we wanted somewhere quiet and private, far from the madding crowd. The hosts were brilliant ... there when we needed them ... otherwise almost invisible. The company VRBO are however a complete disgrace. Their customer service does NOT exist in any meaningful way. They have no complaints procedure and treated both guests and hosts in a terrrible manner. Book and enjoy your holiday but not through VRBO"

Lovely Villa

"Great villa spread out across 3 / 4 large living and sleeping areas which easily accommodated our party of 8 work colleagues. Villa was clean, tidy and well presented and the outdoor space and pool were perfect for relaxing after days out. Claire was great throughout the trip and always available to answer any questions, and give suggestions of nearby places to eat etc. Location was perfect for us away from the hustle and bustle perfect for relaxing but only 10mins from the main towns, shopping centres etc with smaller shops on the doorstep. Internet across the villa was great to which kept the younger members of the group happy"

"It was nice staying at the hotel, but there was limited staff and not enough warning about restaurants and shops being closed on Sunday, including food delivery. The hotel accommodation was pleasant, but the hotel was isolated and the entrance caused problems for taxi hire. The one-way road was inconvenient and the room was near a noisy main road, so ear-plugs were an essential travel item. The pool area was nice, clean and relaxing, and the pool water was clear but very cold. I would stay again, but I would definitely hire a car next time."

"Another beautiful week @Parador Hotel. My room with mountain views, peaceful early morning walks @ sunrise around Teide before the coach loads arrived. Perfect blue skies, warm days enhanced my stay. The evening meal in the restaurant was very tasty, staff generally very friendly. There is a swimming pool though my main reasons to stay there again are the amazing and peaceful walks and beautiful scenery allowing great photography. Parador hotels generally seem to be in idyllic locations. "

"We stayed in a beautiful and rustic apartment, very tastefully furnished and spacious. Despite not having a front desk, check-in was very straight forward and the owners provided good communication. The property grounds are well kept and perfect for a quiet retreat and full relaxation. The local cat happily greeted us every time we used the garden and kindly walked with us, keeping us company. The swimming pool is a nice addition, as well as the jacuzzi. The location is perfect, you're at driving distance from the busier resorts and beaches, but you can also easily drive to the opposite part of the island, it takes roughly an hour. Or just stay in the garden and rest in the hammocks. "
