"My friend and I were excited to get away during the New years week. We got everything from warm mid 40s to 6 inches of snow and low 20s. We were looking for a cozy cabin with a fireplace/stove and some outdoors for our dog. This was exactly what we wanted. I was able to do some excellent trout fishing nearby and some great hikes on DEC trails in State Forests, which were right up the road. "The Oasis was the best place we could have stayed. Very close to All Star Village which was a major plus. Only a 10 min drive! The house was clean, comfortable and lots of activities for our children. Pool table/ping pong table was a plus. The kids loved enjoying the pool, playing whiffle ball and catching frog in the pond right next to the play structure. We would absolutely rent from Shelly again. "Beautiful home and property. The rooms were very comfortable and welcoming. The most disappointing areas were the steps to the main and side entrances which are very difficult to manage. Also, there was no freezer in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes."
