"We loved staying at the Mountain Forest retreat. The house is very comfortable and set back in the trees. It’s quiet with wildlife roaming about. The hot tub was very relaxing. I definitely recommend it. "

"My friend and I were excited to get away during the New years week. We got everything from warm mid 40s to 6 inches of snow and low 20s. We were looking for a cozy cabin with a fireplace/stove and some outdoors for our dog. This was exactly what we wanted. I was able to do some excellent trout fishing nearby and some great hikes on DEC trails in State Forests, which were right up the road. "Plenty of room for multiple families. Very convenient location for All Star Village, about 5 minutes away. Great outdoor environment. Interior could use some upgrading, limited TVs and functionality. Overall great place and would recommend."

"This is our 2nd time visiting this home. We come to visit our son, who is a student at Colgate and in the Colgate orchestra. The hosts are so accommodating and wonderful! The house is squeaky clean and so comfortable. We have already booked it for our next visit in April. "

"The house was beautiful and even bigger than we expected. The grounds around the house (sheltered patio, fire pit, pool, etc.) were a delightful addition to our group’s stay as well. The host was very nice and made the check in and check out process very easy. The only issue we faced was that the house got very warm as the house is not air conditioned, though there were a few floor AC units and fans available. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future."
