"Our room was clean and well laid out. The bathroom was a good size, good powerful shower. The bed was comfortable, bedding was good. Nice towels and toiletries provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. Would stay again. "

"The setting is wonderful, the rooms are clean and surprisingly light. The mattress was possibly from when it was a prison (it was awful), so didn't get much sleep."

"The hotel is very dated and the rooms a little quirky. Our room in particular sloped in various directions the tv bureau sloped one way and the desk table another. Difficult when trying to make a coffee in the morning when the cup slides down the table. However an enjoyable stay."

"Comfy bed, well situated for the bus station and bus stops. walking into town 10 minutes only. On street parking seemed to be permit only! go to Redbridge park and ride and leave your car there. the bus stops outside!. take earplugs because the music plays till 1.00am ish Hotel could do with refurbishing but for one or 2 nights amd at the price it was worth it"
