"We were able to check in early, which was very appreciated! Initially we were given a room that smelled bad, but when I spoke to the front desk they immediately offered to move us to another room. "Lovely hotel in very central location. Was a bit worried about noise but it was fine in the end during the night. Moved rooms to have a separate bathroom and lovely host gave us a bottle of wine and some earplugs in case of noise. Highly recommend the No.1 Ship Street restaurant nearby!"

"My wife and I had an excellent time at the Oxford Royal Hotel. It was our first time in Oxford and wanted a hotel close to bus and train stations. This hotel location was great for all our needs. Many restaurants were just a 5 minute walk up the street. Our bathroom was newly renovated and the beds were clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here during your stay in Oxford. "
