"I stayed in room 116 and it was perfect for me. Very quiet, but spacious, in the "main body" of the hotel, close enough to reception and the restaurant. Some of the rooms are in offshoot extensions to the main building and just lack the same character. The downfall I would say to this hotel was the customer service and service at the bar. On both Friday and Saturday night it wasn't particularly busy, but generally there were only 1 or 2 people working on the bar at it's busiest time. The bar...

"A great place to stay in Central Oxford for a weekend, plus we needed to drop off luggage early and the contact was very helpful. Note that the hotel is unstaffed for large parts of the time, also being central it was quite noisy at night, but very cosy and clean. "

"Room was clean and spacious for one person. Tea and coffee area was well stocked. En suite was clean, the water was warm and the shower was powerful enough. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great, almost right opposite the New Oxford Theatre and only a few minutes walk from a Greene King and Wetherspoons. The only downsides were work men outside my window, two days in a row and the fire alarm going off at all hours. Other than that, no complaints "
