"Great spot away from the busy Tokyo area. The rooms and the hotel is special in its own way and has a lot of character. Felt like being in my grandparents home. Really enjoyed staying here and it made it incredibly easy to walk to and from the train station to get bus tickets. Would definitely tell friends to stay here in the future. "

"a pleasant surprise! when we checked in, it felt like we were the only guests in the hotel. we found out that it was an extremely quiet season, as can be seen for other nearby hotels and restaurant. We had the whole onsen to ourselves! Since it is in a little town, don't expect many F&B outlets nearby. The host (which happened to be the owner) treated us very well, a big Thank You!!"
