"Our stay at the Village Highlands Ranch was great. We got there after dark, but had no trouble finding the place. It’s well lit. Check in was a breeze. Rooms are cleaned and beds made every day. There’s a spot for a bonfire; a great way to connect with other guests. Great location; very close to Lassen National. We had a great time. Will stay here again. "

"My family and I had a great time at the cabin. It is clean, warm and well stocked with everything you could need. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful and tree filled. The roads are paved and clear right up to the gravel driveway. Communication with the owner was clear and easy. The only "cons" would be the hot water does not last very long so it was a challenge getting a family of 4 showered in the evening after a day of sledding. As mentioned in other reviews the internet could get laggy so I wouldn't book the cabin if you need to work for any part of your stay, the connection just isn't strong enough for zooms or other computer related work. However it is perfectly fine for aimless scrolling and TV."

"We baked a few Costco take and bake pizzas, played games and drove up to see it snowing in the park to ring in the new year. The next morning we drove to the Subway cave and Burney Falls. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and had everything to make our quick trip enjoyable. The location was perfect. Ping pong was fun! "

"This property was the perfect balance of "nice" and "lived in." It was comfortable and had most everything we needed. Great large family room where we could all hang out, lovely creek sounds, close to mountain activities and Lassen. Remote but with comforts of home. The house feels spacious and two levels allows kids to hang out up stairs and adults can have some quiet downstairs. Lots of sleeping places, most rooms have private bathroom and some eclectic features make it charming and honey. We loved our stay and would like to come back. Also, property manager was incredibly responsive to any questions. Knowing he was a text away really put me at ease. "
