"My wife and I just returned from a 9-day, 8-night stay at The Royal Sonesta San Juan, and even with the on-and-off rain, we absolutely loved our vacation. One of the highlights for me was the incredible cleaning staff — they went above and beyond and truly made us feel at home. Their warmth and attention to detail stood out more than anything. We were also pleasantly surprised to be able to check in a full 4 hours early for a very reasonable fee, which helped us settle in and start enjoying right away. The food was delicious, the pool area was beautiful, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxed. We’re already thinking about returning soon — maybe even for the Christmas holidays. Highly recommend The Royal Sonesta San Juan for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-run escape in Puerto Rico."

"Excellent classic, old-school with a nevertheless modern vibe boutique hotel in a quiet area of Old San Juan. Very attentive and responsive staff, always ready to help with tips and suggestions. Spotlessly clean. The sole issue we had on the first night was superbly resolved by an extraordinary, and unexpected, upgrade which made our family group’s informal reunion even more memorable. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next Puerto Rico and recommend it without reservation."

"My stay was absolutely perfect and will be coming back in the future for sure. The only thing was the outlet connected to the night stand wasn’t working but that was not a big deal at all as their was many outlets to use throughout the room. "

"Very beautiful, clean property staff was wonderful however, being an animal lover, I do not agree with all the stray cats on the property that do not have food and water put out for them to eat"

"Stayed to celebrate my son’s fifth birthday, the front desk agent upon check in was very courteous and friendly. Was able to do early check in which allowed us more time to unwind and enjoy the facilities. Only suggestion I would make is to maintain the kids’ pool clean. Overall, a lovely experience and will definitely return. "
