"Nice place for our short stay in the area. Room was on busy street side of resort but noise machine provided to help with traffic noises. Great, helpful staff and walkable to 5th avenue and the ocean. Would stay here again when in the area."

"The Escalante is excellente! A real haven right on 5th Avenue and an easy walk to the beach although you don’t need to walk as they provide a cart to take you. The pool area is great too and as there aren’t many rooms, it was easy to get comfortable sun loungers. I have stayed at major chain hotels all over the world and our stay at the Escalente was right up there with the best. The staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
