This resort has a beautiful location on the beach; our room was large and had a magnificent ocean view, but the property is showing its age and could use a refresh. It also has no coffee shop or restaurant on site.

The property is small, quiet and has a good location to restaurants on south end of the island. The elevators are being replaced so they took sometime to get. It was perfect for our short stay at the beach.

I was skeptical because of the bad reviews. But our stay was phenomenal. The staff was friendly and attentive, the room was clean and ready for us, and the view was incredible. The only thing that didn’t make our stay perfect was that the jacuzzi was not heating, besides that, everything else was great.

This property was fine overall. There were a couple of things in our room that were broken and the beach towels were old and frayed. The bath mats were horrible. Plain towel-like bath mats are much better and not as slippery. One elevator did not work during part of our stay so the other elevator was crowded and slow. The employees at the check-in desk didn’t seem to know much about the area and, therefore, were not helpful when we asked questions.

You cannot beat this location for access to the beach. Our room was clean and there was a ton of towels available, so many that we left most untouched. We arrived late, and there was a friendly gentleman in the lobby waiting for us, but no other staff. He pointed us on our way. The parking was a little confusing because we could not find the entrance into the building to get to the elevator, but once we figured it out the first time, that’s it, parking was great because we were on the same floor as our room. We will definitely be back. It was like living in a luxury home even though it was only one bedroom for a few days. Excellent, excellent property.

I reserved a room for two nights at the Marco Beach Resort. When I called on 10/8/24, to see if I could get an early check in, I was told that the facility was closed because of the hurricane. Which forced me to stay at a shelter for the two nights. I want a refund.

Beautiful holiday apartments, would def stay again, though after an anomaly with our room, we were required to move rooms which we felt was unnecessary but they would not back down and let us stay in the same room for the second night and made us wait until early afternoon before we were told to move which ate into our second and final day in Marco.
