"The staff is amazing and personable. I would come back for this alone. The only issue is you advertise a heated pool and the pool was to,cold to,swim in. This would affect me staying again as a pool to swim in in a 75 degree sunny weather requires it and this is a big draw for me. Outside of this I would stay here every time I visit."

"The Escalante is excellente! A real haven right on 5th Avenue and an easy walk to the beach although you don’t need to walk as they provide a cart to take you. The pool area is great too and as there aren’t many rooms, it was easy to get comfortable sun loungers. I have stayed at major chain hotels all over the world and our stay at the Escalente was right up there with the best. The staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
