"I think that everyone should stay at the La Playa Hotel when in Carmel. It has all the things. Its beautiful! The service is wonderful! The bountiful buffet breakfast is amazing. Buds Bar is so cozy and cute. Welcome glass of wine or sangria! Yummy warm chocolate chip cookies in the evening! Transportation to nearby restaurants. There is a pool but too cold in February! Walkable to the Gorgeous beach and shopping. What else could you ask for? A definite recommend! "

"Room was very clean. Aesthetics is modern and minimalist which is perfect for our one night stay. Check-in was easy. We were freezing when we arrived but the heater did its job quickly. Only downfall was I Wish I read the reviews about this place being on a busy street. Sirens and loud motorcycles throughout the night. I could hear every single car passing by and we’re not even in a room closest to the street. Walls are fairly thin, I could hear other people’s conversations through the walls when they’re talking loud enough. For the price we paid though, I think it’s a good deal. "
