"This was an amazing property! Taking the recreational trail will take you from Fishermans Warf to the Monterey Bay Aquarium with Cannery Row in-between! Very walkable all around Monterey. Great food all a round. The room we were in had a king bed, upstairs, with a fireplace. We had 3 rooms in a row, all were very comfortable, quaint, smelled good. All 3 beds were great. They give you a complimentary fire log to enjoy the atmosphere. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Highly recommend the Merritt House Hotel! We will definitely be back! "
