"Pros: super economical and practical, picked this hotel bc of price and decent reviews! Overall, very clean room and bathroom, great big fridge and working microwave. Beds were clean and comfortable. 15 min north of all the hot tourist spots of Monterey Bay region, food Mexican restaurants nearby, and one minute away from Wal Mart and other stores which really helped since we have kids. Front desk was kind. Would stay here again. Con: few fruit flies in the drain of main sink. Not sure why,...

" The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The king bed was pretty hard and I don't see how they are "pillowtop". My only complaint is that the hairdryer smelled like burnt hair so my hair smelled like burnt hair and one of the coffee cups were cracked. However, management was so nice about stating they would fix this. Perks: fireplace was wonderful, extra sugars/creamers etc for the coffee, nice room layout, wonderful hot water for a nice soaking tub bath, extremely kind hotel staff. "

"I’m giving this place 5 stars, not for luxurious furnishings or a giant pool, but because it is clean, rooms have been recently remodeled and the bed with a memory foam mattress was surprisingly comfortable. The employee staffing the front desk when we checked in was friendly and helpful. Parking was a little crowded but adequate. TV had Dish Network but no ability to cast from your phone or stream anything, but that actually helped us to get out of the room and see more of Monterey. 10/10...
