"The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The place was clean... small but clean. We didn't like that the sink was in the bedroom and not in the bathroom, but we could see that there was no room for it in the bathroom. It's a big deal when you have to deal with a colostomy appliance. It's one of the only places on Ocracoke that is pet friendly... we were grateful to be able to stay just one night and bring our dog... thank you!"

It was tucked away in the center of Ocracoke just enough for privacy but close enough in town to ride the golf cart right down the street to all the shops and restaurants. This has always been provided in any short term rental we have booked, it should be required. Great location and parking. Very close to everything. "

"Little House by the Ferry was exactly as described. We wanted a weekend holiday get-away in the off-season and this trip hit the mark. The cottage is as shown in the photos and description. Since it was off-season and only a few on-island amenities were open, it was nice to have the little kitchen details like coffee filters, salt, pepper, etc. The cottage is in a very quiet area and easy walking distance to most places.
