Unfortunately, we noticed a noticeable drop in the overall standard compared to our previous visit. While most of the staff were friendly and tried their best, there were moments where communication was difficult due to language barriers. A few incidents were simply inexcusable, leading us to decide that we wouldn’t return in the future. However, just as we were about to write off the entire stay, we had the pleasure of running into Rita, who we remembered from our earlier visits. She completely turned things around for us. Rita is an absolute legend—kind, warm, considerate, and incredibly professional. Her excellent English made communication seamless, and she went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after. Rita is the only reason we are reconsidering coming back. Sofitel is lucky to have her! "
