"Parking for Monteverde cloud forest is right in front of the hotel. Hotel is deep inside with no convenience stores in walkable distance. Hotels.com had incorrect location listed which made us go in circles to find the place. We used yoga room for yoga. They have kitchen. Road the hotel is terrible with many potholes. Driving in rain was terrible experience specifically when you are coming for the first time and have incorrect directions. "

"Be sure to calibrate your expectations: this is not a luxury apartment. It was, however, an excellent value. While the building wasn't new, the room was well-kept. We were able to find parking each night on the street in front, but had to relocate the car closer one night. The owner is helpful and friendly, and the included breakfast of fruit, eggs, and gallo pinto was solid (especially at this price point). "

"Pros: refrigerator, 2nd floor (bars on windows, blinds, and locks on windows/doors), parking, A/C in the bedroom, additional blankets, towels provided, sugar, tea/coffee and basic cooking utensils. Lots of facecloths in the bathroom. Soap dispensers. Geckos (they were cute). Walkable to downtown/restaurants. Kind hosts. Responsive and proactive - replaced towels, and recommended driving through Rio Celeste to get to the location from Liberia airport as it’s a safer roadway. We understood...

"Cute modern and simple rooms that accommodated our large family with clean bunk beds and a nice shower. We loved the shred area where we cooked a couple of meals and met people from other countries. The staff was extra helpful and kind. They reaerved the tours for us and answered all our questions. "

"Loved this backpackers! Super cool rooms, and the view is excellent looking straight at the Arenal volcano! Awesome pool and bar right on property and downtown is so walkable from the front of the property! "

"Great hostel situated in a nice neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk from the centre including the supermarkets and bus terminal (the centre is frankly not as pleasant as the suburbs). Rooms have secure key codes, and lockers are situated in the communal kitchen which is large, clean and well equipped. Everything was good. Would recommend."

"Alexandra is an amazing host. She was very accommodating, warm and helpful. She even brought us bread and pinto gallo in the morning. LIttle Paradise is well situated and all the major sights (La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano, Monteverde) are at most an hour drive away. The property is scenic and vast, with a beautiful view of the lake. "Place was absolutely amazing! Could not have asked for a better space or view. Even better, Coltin is by far the best property manager we’ve ever had at a rental. "This was a wonderful little gem of a place! I was so glad we found it when planning our trip. Very well maintained, the staff was so helpful and kind, and the hot springs were wonderful. We never felt like there was a lot of people around - which led to a very relaxing stay. Extra bonus was enjoying the animals from the farm randomly around the grounds. Would definitely come back here and bring our whole family!"

Hotel Magic Mountain SPA & Conference center

"I stayed at the Magic Mountain Hotel and encountered several issues during my stay. There were security concerns as someone knocked on our door after 10 PM, and when we called the provided security number, there was no response, leaving us feeling scared. The hotel lacked laundry service, and the front desk staff were not very customer service-oriented. Although breakfast was included, the menu was the same every day, which became monotonous. The hotel provided coupons for pool towels, but no towels were actually available, and they seemed very stingy about distributing them. Additionally, the check-out time was listed as 2 PM on Expedia, but the hotel changed it to 12 PM after booking, which was frustrating."
