"Amazing place! It is a little outside the town with an amazing view of the volcano. The property was so relaxing with a pool and shaded areas to hang out. So many birds and a beautiful garden! The actual room was good for sleeping and making simple meals but we spent most of our time outdoors on the property. Would stay again!"

"We have a wonderful time in our visit to La Fortuna. The house was a perfect repose after a busy day around the many attractions Arenal has to offer. Communication with Nita and Marty was excellent. "The location was perfect for seeing Rio Celeste and other rainforest tours. Everyone was really friendly and the food was great. Communication was somewhat interesting because I hadn’t brushed up on my Spanish enough but we made it work! The bed wasn’t super comfortable, shower didn’t get very hot and the walls weren’t exactly soundproof but for the price it was still a good value. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"The Casita was just as advertised. Small but didn't feel small. We were nervous about the size before moving in but it felt the right size and we didn't feel crowded or closed in. It had everything that we needed and expected. The view was great and the location was fine. We had a car so getting to groceries etc. was not a problem. Barbara and Lawrence were great hosts. We really enjoyed Lawrence's band practices. All in all a great stay."

"Very clean and comfortable house surrounded by the forest. Kitchen is fully equipped. The dirt path towards the house needs work otherwise your car could get stuck. definitely need a 4 wheeler vehicle. We saw monkeys and toucans in the morning. Very calm and quiet stay it was.
