"Very good value for the money. The hotel has been renovated in the last year or so. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff is as nice and friendly as can be. Breakfast is better than most and includes fresh fruit. Fitness center is a huge room, but it needs attention — from wipes and towels (there were none) to getting the equipment working. Location is convenient to highways and is a 10-minute drive to most places."

"Really nice place to stay while visiting Durango. Not a lot to do right around the hotel unfortunately, but the river walk is really close. If you’re looking to be able to walk to restaurants or shopping, you probably want to be more in downtown. The hotel is nice though. Quiet and very dog friendly. Lots of places to walk around the property or join up to the walking trails along the Animas River. Staff is very nice and continental breakfast was good."

"The room had a stench. Didn’t smell clean. Unsure if it’s the linen or whatever was used to mop or maybe it hadn’t been properly mopped. I’ve stayed here before and there was never an issue. "
