"The cabin is new construction. The bed was comfortable and the deck is perfect for morning coffee. We were happy to have rented a small SUV for this trip. The cabin is a 20 minute drive from the edge of La Fortuna and the road is steep and rough. A car with low clearance would have been a problem. "This property was absolutely magical! At the price point I thought maybe it was too good to be true, but it was even better than the photos appeared. The host was very reachable and helpful. The property was gorgeous and felt like a dream. We saw to and on the way in, heard howler monkeys once in the morning, and had a tree frog in our hot tub with us. "This place was amazing! Perfect size for two people. King size bed was comfortable. Amazing Views of lake and volcano. Grill and hot tub did not work. That is only reason we are rating a 4. I would absolutely stay here again. Close to everything in this area.great restaurant and all activities a short drive"

"What a beautiful, peaceful finca! Everything was lovely during our stay. Fresh flowers greeted us, and all the main things one would need for cooking were there: coffee machine, pots/pans, silverware. The washing machine and clothesline worked for us. The best part of this stay are the hosts. Don Eddy took us on a lovely horseback tour of the farm, where we sampled many fruits, sugar cane, cacao. We even saw a sloth and a howler monkey. The water buffalo, Solomon, is a cutie and very friendly....

"Nicely decorated simple cabins with a true nature feel. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Loved the little details like the viewing outpost. Out of the main tourist paths which is what I was looking for. "

"This was a great place to stay for the price. Think glamping. It was clean, decently stocked kitchen wise, and the little porch with hammock chair was amazing. The vegetation around was lush and the pond with running water. There is some road noise and it's a tin roof so it can be loud with rain but overall a great stay. Nice to be out of the town centre."
