"I chose Monterey Bay Inn because of the location on cannery row and the view. We had a private balcony that overlooked the harbor. The Aquarium is a 10-15 minute walk away as well as the shopping and restaurants. My only complaint - and it’s completely out of their hands - THE SEALS. All day, all night, they bark. They never stop! It was great to see them overtake the beach, not so much to try and sleep while they’re there. If you are a light sleeper or are unable to sleep with ear plugs I would...

"It took us a long time to figure out how to work the heater...until 11pm the first night...the room was freezing! We opted for a room with a fireplace...it wasn't obvious how to turn it on...we were there during hours the front office wasn't open so we couldn't ask about it."

"Staff is friendly, room was clean, plenty of parking, shower has strong water pressure, and two large shopping centers nearby. I had a great stay. If I ever come back to the area I would stay here again."
