"Everything was good, except, in the rooms there were no comfortable chairs to relax in and watch TV. I don't like laying on the bed to watch TV. In addition I would prefer a small table and chairs to sit at instead of the tall bar chairs. "

"The Monte Vista is a very interesting historic hotel. The rooms, though, are a little worn around the edges and could use a little updating. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. The carpet was worn, and the room was cold. The heater didn’t work very good. But it was still super fun to stay there because of the location. There is a very fun, lively bar on the first level called The Rendezvous. There are also other fun bars/restaurants in the immediate vicinity. It is a great location!"
