"The Sunset Getaway gets everything right! The cabin is very cozy and the furniture and beds are so comfortable. The communication was excellent and check-in was a breeze. We walked in to a lovely fire going in the fireplace and everything was immaculate. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved the television set up...just hook up your computer and you are good to go. This is perhaps the best run property that I have ever stayed. We loved our time here. "

"This house is perfect for 2 families of 4 each. The bedrooms for the parents are both downstairs, while the kids are upstairs - which was great. We loved how close the house is to the ski mountain, the ski bus to/from as well as the really hot and clean hot tub outside in the snow. The house could have given us more towels for the hot tub, however. So bring your own if you want clean towels! House was clean except for some spider webs up in the rafters. Knives in the kitchen were super...

"Was pretty clean and cozy. There were some cobwebs and lots of dust we could see on the ceiling beams and on some of the furniture like the side of bed tables. WiFi was fine on our phones. Tv worked way better when we hotspotted to a phone. Otherwise it was great "

"Great open space for big family. 5 bedrooms and bath made staying there very comfortable. Owner is easy to get along with."

"Near the lake, easy to walk around. Close to the main road with noise. The building is old, and the heater is loud, remote is out of service, bathroom floor always wet, kitchen is small, 1 cloth hanger there. It's an average place, can be better."

"What a beautiful home and about 15 minutes to both Alpine and Palisades, as well as about 1.25 hours to Sierra ski mountains. We loved the walkability to downtown and dog park nearby."

"The bedding was very thin and not complete sets for either bed. The room smelled like a backed up drain and musty. The shower is unsafe as it has no light inside, it’s very dark behind shower curtain and the water turns scorching hot on its own. The room is also lacking plug outlets, only one under tv opposite side of the room from nightstand and definitely no usb plugs either. Property lacking any landscaping, just dirt.Very disappointing."

"This was a wonderful place to gather and enjoy time together at Tahoe! There was plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and have their own private rooms. Birgitta was very responsive and helpful all the way through! We hope to stay here again in the future."

"The house was clean and very comfortable. Very easy to check in and access the house and garage. Great stay!"

"We were very happy with the accommodations Super clean and beds comfortable It was a little cold in the morning especially in the bathroom. The little heater didn't quite get the warm heat into the bathroom. A hair dryer would have been nice to have. There were dishes, glasses,and cups, but no eating utensils, that would have been helpful Thank You for a delightful stay!"

"I rarely write any reviews but this placed deserves some recognition. We had a few issues arise during our stay but when I reached out to the rental company they’re were so responsive and attentive, that they made the experience in staying in their home amazing. The location is so closed to everything the mini golfing and Carnelian bay definitely a beautiful location and will definitely be coming back."

"Came up with some friends to score the first powder day of the season, this was perfect to give our group some space close to Palisades in a beautiful cabin"
