"Beautiful location convenient to restaurants, rentals, and on a great strip of beach. The only complaint I have is the seemingly constant construction year over year. We’ve stayed a couple times and there’s always been a loss of amenities due to construction without clear notification. It’s a bit annoying until all of the other benefits of the service, location, and overall quality kick in. Even under construction it’s one of the best hotels in the area that’s reasonably priced. "

"This was our fourth time at the National but importantly the third year in a row since the major change. It is still wonderful and keeps the right balance of elegance and calm in the centre of South Beach. This time there were a few anomolies. It advertises itself as an adult hotel but we saw children running around at and in the pool. They were well behaved but I'm not sure why they were there.
