"Hotel is in a lovely location, we were lucky to get a view of the gardens (not the car park). Room was comfortable and clean, we were disappointed with the bathroom, there is mould on the ceiling and the shower mixer tap had the central section missing which would have shown how it worked (room 8 on group floor. Service in the bar was good, bar area was comfortable. Food was OK at dinner, disappointed with my breakfast order of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs as the eggs were dry and over...

"Communication from Nick was 1st class, very good customer service. Have stayed a few times now. The studio i was in this time, waa clean and well presented. The only issues was the floor was creaky going to the en suite. Also the firestick didn't have any sound which it did in the other studio. Not a huge problem, but a smart tv would be a good solution. "The room was large and comfortable When we booked breakfast was included but no breakfast for anyone as kitchen was getting renovated. I was a bit annoyed that I hadn’t been notified by hotels.com or the hotel before our stay. The water pressure in the shower was poor but hot enough and the shower tray filled up with water on our last night we had noisy neighbours (if you know what I mean) which spoiled our stay a bit but overall cheap cheerful handy for the town.
