"The building itself is old and as a result has a lot of charm, I needed somewhere to stay close to stoke hospital but didn’t want to break the bank, this hotel didn’t, the staff were all friendly bed was clean and comfy, I will say take toiletries though as the ‘complimentary’ ones consisted of 2 small soaps. Breakfast was lovely and worth the extra expense "

"I do not recommend this property in any way shape or form. The bed had wooden slates like a futon frame. Half (literally half) of the slates were entirely broken. You could not sit on half the bed without falling to the floor. The other half of the slates had been zip-tied together. I arrived late and had no choice than to stay.
