"We had an excellent time at Slater's and would willingly recommend a stay there to family & friends. The Staff were unfailingly helpful & friendly, and the evening meal was appreciated by all four of us. A good choice of real ales was a bonus too. The rooms were comfortable and there was plenty of car parking space available. The two lads were amused by the noisy and obvious sexual activity in the bathroom above Room 6. Fortunately, no water came through the ceiling. Hope the cleaning staff...

"I do not recommend this property in any way shape or form. The bed had wooden slates like a futon frame. Half (literally half) of the slates were entirely broken. You could not sit on half the bed without falling to the floor. The other half of the slates had been zip-tied together. I arrived late and had no choice than to stay. Even after a very uncomfortable night sleep, I did not ask for a reimbursement for that night. Rather, I asked to switch rooms. They said they had no availability but I...
